The Wake County Volleyball Club, in association with vh1vball.com and the City of Raleigh, will be hosting the 6th Annual Spike for a Cause charity volleyball tournament on Saturday, September 24th, 2011, at Jaycee Park in Raleigh.
The cost for this charity event is $25 per person, adult or junior, with all proceeds to be donated to Striving for More, a charity providing emotional and spiritual support for kids with cancer. USAV memberhip is NOT required for this event, but all participants will be required to sign a waiver.
Both grass and sand co-ed 4-on-4 (quads) formats will be offered, with 3 levels of the grass division (Open, Advanced and Recreational) and 2 levels of the sand division (Advanced and Recreational). You may have more than 4 players on a team, but all teams are required to have at least one female player on the court at all times.
Over $5700 in donations were raised in association with last year's Spike for a Cause charity volleyball tournament, and we hope to do even better this year. Please come out to play or support the cause!
